At McAir Aviation we strive to be the flight school of choice offering a quality flying experience. For exceptional customer service in a friendly atmosphere, and affordable flight lessons, we welcome you to stop by our flight school office located in Broomfield, Colorado at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (BJC) to meet our friendly staff and view our facilities.

Our flight training is set in a casual atmosphere that models a “hands-on” approach, ensuring that students are provided the information that is required to be a competent pilot. Flying lessons at McAir are available 24 hours a day, rain or shine 363 days a year (weather permitting).

At McAir Aviation, you’ll have the opportunity to master GPS-equipped aircraft, glass panel aircraft, and the industry standard simulator technology available from Frasca and Redbird. You are provided a flight training experience that airlines and corporate flight departments look for on a resume.

Approved FAA Part 141 Flight School

As an approved FAA Part 141 flight school, McAir students are able to train at lower total flight time minimum requirements than training under Part 61. It is possible to save time and overall training costs. Some McAir alumni have gone on to complete their flight hours and additional requirements so that they can work* for places like:

Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport

Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport is a public-use airport located in Broomfield, Colorado, United States. The airport is owned and operated by Jefferson County and is situated midway between Denver and Boulder on U.S. Highway 36.

The airport is the fourth busiest in Colorado. The Airport Director and staff are committed to ensuring that pilots, passengers, and business executives enjoy their visit to the Denver area and can access an operationally efficient airport with a record of safety, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in any weather condition.
